I attended an event hosted by the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) on Saturday, technically called Formula SAE. Ten schools competed with student designed and built cars. It’s so inspiring to see young talent focus and put out great designs.

I talked to the president of UTA, the dean of engineering, the head of mechanical engineering and several professors while I was there. My former controls class professor is actually head of this event. It is always great to reconnect with him. They are all a part of who I am.

Meadows Analysis is active at UTA and sponsors some of the events. We believe in the program and how it helps young people. I have been on the industry advisory board for mechanical engineering over 10 years.

If you get a chance to make it out to some of the UTA events, connect with me and we can make a day of it.
